At Haba Na Haba Food Bank we believe that hunger is NOT a problem of poverty but a problem of logistics. We can be poor but we do not have to be hungry. Therefore we at Haba Na Haba Food Bank fight hunger in Uganda by collecting food from where it is wasted and redistributing it to where there are many hungry vulnerable people.

Haba Na Haba Food Bank was co-founded by Jessica Kamya Bagenda and Raymond Sseguya with guidance from the Food Banking Regional Network led by Dr. Moez El Shohdi. Haba Na Haba Food Bank is a copying best practices from food banks in the United States under Feeding America and the Global Food banking Network.
Activities
Haba Na Haba Food Bank in Uganda, a member of the Food Banking Regional Network, fights hunger in Uganda by collecting food from where it is wasted and redistributing to the most hunger vulnerable people in the community.
